Taking you higher

As soon as you arrive in Rio de Janeiro you’ll be whisked away to the Porto Bay Rio, directly on beach so you’re close to the action. You’ll be spending the next few days indulging in Rio’s hedonistic atmosphere enjoying the beach life.

Our guide will take you on a tour up the cable car to Sugar Loaf Mountain as well as a visit to the iconic Christ Redeemer on Corvavado. You’ll have a free day to explore the city at your own pace. We suggest a visit to the arty bohemian district of Santa Teresa located up on the hills.

Devil’s view of the waterfalls

Full chilled and ready for more you will fly to Iguaçu Falls where you will stay at the La Cantera Lodge on the Argentine side of the falls.

They say there is no greater experience of natural beauty than a glimpse of the famous falls, the place native Indians believed to be the mouth of one of its gods. Our guide will take you to the Brazilian side of these great waterfalls, made famous in the film The Mission, as Robert De Niro teeters over the edge while strapped to a crucifix. Fortunately you’ll be spared the ordeal, but the experience is equally as spiritual.

Cross over to Argentina and you can be up close-and-personal, so close you can almost touch the water. One of the biggest thrills is walking over the suspended platform that traverses The Devil’s Throat, a gurgling, spitting, rampaging flurry of water.

The mighty Amazon

Board your flight to Manaus, deep in the Amazon and the gateway to your next great adventure. Spend a night in this fascinating city before boarding a boat to head down to the luxury Anvilhanas Eco-Lodge.

From here, naturalist and local guides will take you on excursions into the Amazon wilderness. Delve into the lush green forests, go up creek by canoe or head out in search of wildlife including monkeys, caiman and myriad bird life. During your stay you will also have the opportunity to visit a local indigenous Indian tribe, where you will discover their way of life.

A different flavour

Return to Manaus and fly to Salvador on the coast. Home for the next few days will be the Solar dos Deuses. With the help of our local guide you will explore the old town, with its colonial mansions and churches painted in vivid colours.

In the new town you’ll find never-ending stretches of beaches and shacks selling fresh coconuts to sip, a cool beer, a zesty caipirinha, or fresh oysters you can suck straight from their shells. You’ll have a free day to explore or relax returning home suitably relaxed.
