Beach blanket Babylon

Take everything you have thought about beach holidays, and think again. On this fast-track to exotic bliss you’ll be soaking up the beauty of these far-flung stretches of Latin America in no time.

The day you arrive you’ll take a short scenic flight to the peaceful serenity of Placencia, a sea-lovers’ bounty, offering 16-miles of unadulterated sandy stretches.

Your home and base for the next few nights will be the wonderful Hamanasi. Throw away the clichés of beaches choked by sun loungers, and make way for this Belizean beach world, surrounded by a fascinating selection of ancient ruins to explore.

Chills or thrills, the choice is yours

During your stay at the Hamanasi we’ll provide a mixture of exciting activities to take part. Take a pick of two tank scuba diving each day or snorkelling in the Caribbean waters that glisten with coral beauty and host the largest reefs in the western hemisphere, second only to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

Take a hike through the stunning countryside to the nearby waterfalls, visit the caves and jungles, go bird watching in some of exotic species or take to canoes or kayaks to explore the rivers. Of course, should you wish, just relax on the hammocks or beach and take it easy.

The pace is as relaxed or as exciting as you want it to be.

Islands apart

We’ll take you from one island paradise to the other. Take another scenic flight to the beach beauty of Ambergis Caye, a haven for sandy coves and seaside living.

The place oozes history, after being an outpost for the Mayan and European Pirates alike, and brims with thatched-roof villages and fishing boats. The next few nights will be spent at the Victoria House.

During your stay we’ll organise for you to take a snorkelling adventure to Hol Chan & Shark Ray Alley where you’ll get close up to sharks, sting rays and some of the most formidable creatures in the ocean, a must for any visit to the islands.

The last few days will be free for you to enjoy at your own pace. Spend lazy days on the beach and head out on further exploration trips.

You’ll also have the opportunity to feast on daily fresh fish catches. You’ll be heading home fully and utterly relaxed with a ton of stories to share.
